Burlington County Restaurant Week

 

Dear Restauranteur,

The Burlington County Freeholders understand restaurants play an important role in making Burlington County a highly desirable place in which to live, work and play. In addition to offering a wide variety of dining experiences, restaurants make a healthy contribution to the County’s economy. According to the 2016 County Business Patterns published by the U.S. Census Bureau, the food service industry employed about 10,400 persons in Burlington County.

To emphasize the importance of these businesses, the Freeholders want to shine a spotlight on the county’s restaurants during a new initiative – “Burlington County Restaurant Week” – that will run from October 20 to 26, 2019.

To promote “Burlington County Restaurant Week” to over 178,000 households in the county, the Freeholders will put the initiative on its website and social media, issue news releases about the initiative, and advertise it in local newspapers. All participating restaurants will be listed on the County website. The Freeholders will encourage municipalities to promote restaurant week on their websites and social media and in their newsletters.

The Freeholders invite your restaurant to participate in “Burlington County Restaurant Week”. The Department of Economic Development and Regional Planning of the Burlington County Bridge Commission will manage this initiative on the Freeholders’ behalf.
