We are thrilled to host our 4th Annual Juneteenth Festival on June 15, 2024, at Millcreek Park from noon to 4 PM. Juneteenth, also known as Jubilee Day, is celebrated as the official ending of slavery in the United States, two years after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863. Today, Juneteenth is recognized for more than the ending of slavery. The celebration of Juneteenth highlights African American heritage and culture, freedom, and education.
