Willingboro Township, NJ
Home MenuRecycling Cart Requests
Recycling and trash are collected by trucks outfitted with motorized arms that will pick up, empty, and return your trash cart to the curb. Proper placement of the carts on recycling and trash days is crucial to ensure that these materials are collected. Carts that are not properly placed at the curb or are obstructed by cars will not be collected.
Each household in the Township has been provided with one (1) green, 96-gallon, wheeled trash cart and at least one blue recycling cart (single family homes).
Yellow carts are provided for the communities of Fairmount and Rittenhouse. Upon request, 96-gallon carts will be provided to residents who wish to replace the yellow carts. Click here to access the request form.
These bins are property of Willingboro Township and have been linked to each address. Proper care of the carts is the responsibility of the homeowner. If you move from your home, the cart must remain with the property.
Only contents within the carts will be collected. Nothing on the outside of the cart will be collected. The Township encourages residents to properly recycle as much as possible, reducing the amount of trash collected, and ultimately saving additional tax dollars.
If you have any questions or concerns about recycling carts, please contact the Department of Public Works at 609-877-2200, ext. 1051 or 1107.
