Special Use Events Permit Application 

Events and Festivals 

NOTE: This application is intended for organizers of public events, festivals, musical events, and
individuals whose events are a gathering of 50 or more people in one location or any gathering
requiring tents, sound systems, staging and/or any equipment. If you are interested in using a
park or Township facility, you must first reach out to the Parks & Recreation Department before
completing this application.


Once you have received this application, follow the below steps:


1. Complete the application in its entirety and provide all documentation.


2. Submit the completed application to the Department of Inspections at the Municipal
Complex located at 1 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive 08046.


3. Submit the required $50 application fee.

Police Department – Police may require crowd control, road closures, and safety concerns.

Fire Department – The fire department determines appropriate emergency medical service

Inspections Department – Events having tents, sales, structures, generators, and event use types

Parks and Recreation Department – If you would like your event to be hosted at any of our parks or

Burlington County Health Department – To distribute, sell or sample food, approval and permit
must be obtained at the County level (609)265-5516. website: www.co.burlington.nj.us

NJ Division of Fire Safety – Fire Safety Permits required for Cooking Vendor Permits and use of
